If I apply a couple of days before November 1, will I still get an interview? Thanks

I have a friend who applied on October 31st and got an interview, so you should be fine I would think.

It depends on how many alumni are available to interview applicants in your area. Generally speaking, Harvard tries to interview all applicants regardless of when they pressed the submit button. See: [Harvard College Admissions § Applying: International Interviews](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/apply/international/interviews.html)

“We encourage interested international applicants to have an admissions interview when and where it is possible. Our interviewers abroad are normally graduates of the College who volunteer their assistance. If an interviewer is not available sufficiently close to you to make an interview possible, the absence of an interview will not adversely affect your candidacy.”

The goal is to interview everyone. Particularly EA applicants.

My daughter has applied EA to undergraduate harvard admissions by Nov 1st.She hasn’t got any interview letter yet.Does anyone know how long will it take to get an interview letter from Harvard? We are from FL. If anyone has got interview letter,will you please let us know? Thanks.

Family3, it took me about two weeks to get a phone call directly from my interviewer --I did not get a letter or anything from Harvard about the interview.

@Family3:

You don’t get an “interview letter” from Harvard. You might get a telephone or email from an alumni volunteer – if there are enough in your area. You may never get and interview offer – but that’s due to lack of people – not your kid’s relative chances.
