William & Mary 'finance' OR UVA 'financial econ'

I posted this same question in the 'business major' forum, but figured that this may actually be the proper spot to ask...

I am having a hard time deciding between finance at W&M MSOB or econ (financial economics route) with UVA (through the college, not McIntire).
In general, I have always held a preference towards finance, but does anybody have any idea as to which degree from either school would ultimately be more marketable to get into banking, etc.?
Any insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

Why not major in Commerce with a concentration in Finance at McIntire? Here’s a link to McIntire’s Destination report for 2008 http://www.commerce.virginia.edu/career_services/Employers/Placement%20report/Reports/Placement_report_2008.pdf.

That would be the ideal route, unfortunately as a pre-req to enter McIntire you must have through the intermediate level of foreign lang., which I do not yet have…
