william paterson or rider university

I recently received my acceptances to both william p and rider university here in nj. William p extended my deadline until the end of this week so that I can send in my deposit. I got accepted as an EOP student at rider university. I plan on majoring in broadcast journalism and I know both schools are pretty good for that. William p is about 45 minutes away while rider is about one hour and a half away. I really like both schools but I'm kind of leaning towards william p because it has a music business program that I would want to minor in, while rider doesn't.

So my question is, which is the better school? Should I choose william p over rider because it has a program that rider doesn't have and that I'm really interested in? Riders campus was really nice and I love what they have to offer. I feel that rider is the better school but I don't know if its better for me.

I know that my b-i-l received a good education from Rider, but he went for business. I think it has a strong rep. for business. You should go where the program best suits you but realize that W. Paterson may have more commuting students and not as much campus feel as Rider.

As a WP alum, I'd definately go to Willy P. There are a lot of improvements going on there now, 2 new dorms and a new student center. Plus the business school is in a completely new building, and I believe is newly accredited. The cost is also significantly less.
