<p>Because 7 students were matched to Williams and received their notification on 12/2. But don’t worry, ~1200 more acceptances coming!!!</p>

<p>Not really. Unless I misread it, the article said that the office will try to release the result on the 12th I think. If they haven’t completed the work, it will take them more time to finish the evaluations. Hence, the 15th is the latest you should hear back from them. Of course they want to release the decisions sooner on the 12th, preferably.</p>
<p>I’m ED for Williams as well! Crossing my fingers like crazy for the next few days.
This is the first I’ve heard about the 12th. I’ve been so nervous I called the office a few days ago and they said the absolute latest we’ll hear is the 15th…but I’d love to get a decision before then!!

<p>I hope they are released earlier. My bet is that they will release them earlier than the 12th maybe because ED applications are down in terms of numbers this year (theres only about 550 this year and 620 last year)</p>

<p>Hey, does anyone know how far in advance Williams sends out e-mails notifying applicants that their decisions will be posted? For example, this year Amherst e-mailed ED applicants on Monday stating that decisions would be released on Friday. That’s five days notice. I have not heard from Williams yet and the 12th is in two days so does that mean that decisions are going to be released later…?</p>
<p>I just checked the Williams Website and it said, “Early Decision notifications will be released via email the evening of Thursday, December 12.” So at least we have a firm date</p>
