YES – I totally agree with the prior post. It is a crazy contrast between the tone and content of posts on LACs and “other” universities. Kids (and parents) looking at computer source codes, doing polls about who got which email or text, doing statistical analyses of past years’ data to predict current year… yikes. Stress is an understatement! The LACs are much more calm and “we will know when we know.”

Yeah just looking at the contrast between this thread on decision day vs. NYU 5-6 days before decision day is CRAZY.

Very little hope… got rejected by 6 colleges already

someone said earlier 5 or 6 pm est but i haven’t heard anything myself

I have made myself ready for a deny. As the outcome cannot be worse, anything better than that will be great!

Yeah same, I remember they requested for a document and I didn’t see the email until 2 weeks after so I definitely didn’t submit it in time or they think im not that interested. I am ready for a rejection to ahaha. Ive actually had multiple breakdowns considering that I have already gotten rejected from a safety school… insane

Good luck to everyone! Remember that with LACs like Williams, they look at very small details out of our control when accepting students because classes are so small. Don’t kick yourself if the decision isn’t what you wanted It will work out, and you will go where you are meant to

! All we can do now is hope and wait.
I’ve had deep moments in the murky, churning seas this decision season too, but don’t lose hope. Be proud of what you’ve done so far in your life and resolute in your merit as a person. I believe in you. Everyone here at this forum seeks knowledge, and the fact that we applied means that we definitely each have our own unique trails of Christmas lights that makes our journeys to this point a memory to cherish

that’s what i’ve heard. will we get an email to check our decision when they come out?
emails usually arrive 15-30 mins after your status has been updated, considering what I’ve seen up until now

I’m feeling more like 7 pm ET,but who knows. It might not even be today, my Application Checklist is STILL there and it usually disappears before the decision release day.
