^I’d like to know too…
I just checked the Williams online portal and it said “The application server is down at this time.” and wouldn’t let me log in… maybe they are preparing for decisions release?

People - They will release them Fri afternoon AFTER the hs counselors have gone home, and very close to their own closing time. That way there is a whole weekend they can be away from the angry phone calls from rejected applicants. Let’s be real.

Actually Harvard and most of the Ivies traditionally come out on Thursday afternoons (this year it is 3/29)…Williams’ EDs came out on 12/15 which is a Thursday night (they release the information at 8 pm EDT so it is 5pm PDT and the applicants out West aren’t in school when they find out). I don’t have any information, but I would guess it is 3/29 too.

They will get the calls on Friday or Monday regardless–

I was subject to the phantom link as well. Mine said no decision had been made yet, I just hope that doesn’t translate to a rejection. I’d imagine we’ll get an email early this week telling us when to log on for our decisions. I’m just really hoping the male theatre major applicants were at a record low this year, 'cause that’s my only diversity point haha.

@cowscows …soo i’m guessing from your username that Williams is your top choice. I’ve only been able to learn about it online and i also got an early, so if you’ve been on campus is it super secluded at williams? or is there stuff to do? thanks…its in my top 3

Zambia, I don’t know any more about Williams than you do probably so I can’t help you, sorry. It was merely a huge coincidence that I used to be obsessed with cows and their mascot is the purple cow I have the same worries about seclusion and stuff, and I guess I won’t really know for myself until I visit. The general consensus I’ve been hearing is that it’s gooorgeous but nonetheless in the middle of nowhere. My pastor’s brother-in-law (I’ve got great references, I know) actually lives in Williamstown and they love it, or so they say. Sorry I can’t be of more help, haha.

My son has Williams in the top five, but it would fly to #1 if he were accepted. (So hard to get an offer there, however!) He confirms from an extended visit to Williams a year back that it is in the middle of no-freaking-where, but the school has so much going on, he said he could handle its lack of proximity to civilization. Really, there are reasons why Williams is so highly regarded and I have not heard anyone say no because of its location.
