Ok thanks, I see it
It’s at their website that decisions would be out on the15th of March
@illiteratemoron Please think positive
@illiteratemoron from one anonymous stranger on the internet to another even if your parents MAY be disappointed know that I am very proud of you regardless of the decisions.
Ahhh I’m nervous! Does anyone know when on March 15th the decision’s gonna come out?
@HappySquirrel williams ED decisions came out at 6PM ET, so that’s my best guess.
6pm ET sounds like a good prediction. I hate it when I have to spend an entire day stressing out
@HappySquirrel me too. i just saw this thread and the confirmed date and now im gonna be stressed all week dhshfisadbk
Anyone know what deferral acceptance rates are like in the regular round?
Good luck to everyone who is struggling through a tornado of senioritis and scholarships waiting for the 15th. Best of luck to all!
Kinda glad to have a triple rehearsal day on Thursday- less time to agonize over it. My parents keep dropping hints about how awful it would be for their school spirit when I don’t get in, but I guess they’ll just have to deal.
34 hours left! Good luck everyone!
How many acceptances will actually be sent out? Isn’t most of the class filled from ED?
47% of the class was filled ED this year. (Source: admissions officer’s phone call with alumni group)
Remember, though, that many more students need to be accepted than just a number equal to the remaining slots! Some accepted students will go to Harvard, Middlebury, Amherst, etc., etc.
Here is last year’s data (source: Williams news release last year)

Good luck, everyone!
What’s up guys! Admissions just emailed my parents (cause I’m a legacy) to tell me I got denied early which sucks a lot. They said the acceptance rate this year is like 12%, so I just wanted to wish you guys the best of luck tomorrow! Y’all deserve it.
@illiteratemoron omg what. thats a terrible way to found out
Sorry, @illiteratemoron. Good luck at your other choices, and I hope you will enjoy your future college and look back on this day wondering how you ever could have wanted to go anywhere else besides your new college. That, I think, is the experience of many students who get rejected from a top choice.
@illiteratemoron Really sorry to hear that! Do you know if all legacies get notified a day early? Thanks.
@aroving I don’t know. I think it’s only if you get denied. I’m still waiting on a bunch of other schools but I know that I have no chance now because I have literally nothing going for me.
@illiteratemoron I can only imagine how disappointed you must feel but those emotions will fade and you will find your school holistic match and flourish. Surely it does not feel like it now but you will bounce back. It’s a process…
