Make some calls and plead your case…showing initiative and desire gets resutls
@bresdo I emailed my admissions representative, is that enough or should I call the admissions office too? Wouldn’t it be repetitive?
Agreed. I would think that would be crossing the line.
Anyone got email for off waitlist? Still no email? really hope can get a spot…
FYI, emailed today; replied and said they were in a holding pattern so I assume most of the higher priority kids have already recieved offers.
@mrgrumpycat that’s just sad. Now I have no more hope. I wish they would just email us and tell us so we can move on
@mrgrumpycat how did you know higher priority kids have already recieved offers? It seems just two got in (posted around 2 days ago)
@zazu I got an email to reconfirm my interest on Friday and I haven’t heard anything since…
@prospy22 Thanks for the update. Good news come out tomorrow…
Yesterday my son received an offer to join class of 2022 after receiving a “reconfirm your interest” email on Friday. Looks like they are admitting student by student. I hope everyone hears soon. Best of luck to all.
@mommacrane Thanks for the update. Congratulation!
so quite. any insider info on the waitlist or any info at all?
@zazu yeah I got an offer yesterday. Good luck to all of you!
Congrats! Do you mind share boy or girl? Pubic school or private school? Thanks!
Boy at a private school. @zazu
More people can be accepted this week? @Lovebug339 do you think the process is over? so quite
@zazu It is probably over unless someone changes their mind. Odds are slim. Not sure how many are left on the waitlist but not many people change their minds this late so chances of hearing something are probably sub-1%.
Just received this email:
Thank you for your patience and continued interest in Williams over the last two months. I’m writing to let you know that we will not have the opportunity to consider your candidacy for the Class of 2022. I wish you all the best in the coming years.
my heart is in a million pieces right now. Williams was my #1 choice and I really did try to get off the waitlist (heartfelt letter, recommendation, another letter, guidance counselor email).
Sorry, @MahdiaChowdhury.
Now allow yourself to fall similarly in love with the college that admitted you and where you sent your deposit.
As painful as this is now, once you have been at your new college for a few months, hopefully you will feel so connected to it that you will be so glad you are there and wonder how you ever could have wanted to go somewhere else!
@TheGreyKing thank you for your words. I truly hope that is the case.
