Williams prompt/referencing the window

Alright, so the Williams prompt is:

Imagine looking through a window at any environment that is particularly significant to you. Reflect on the scene, paying close attention to the relation between what you are seeing and why it is meaningful to you. Please limit your statement to 300 words.

Do you have to specifically reference the window? I essentially just wrote an essay about my connection to a certain place without mentioning a window, but tbh I'm not sure if it fits the prompt the way it is now. (Also, if anyone would like to read it who isn't applying for colleges this year, that'd be fab)

No, you definitely do not need to reference the window…

If you still need a reader/editor, you can PM me. I haven’t been a college student for about 30 years :)

Unfortunately, I’ve already sent in the Williams supplement, haha. However, I do have a supplement for another school (Amherst) that I’d love a reader for, if you’d be interested in looking at that?

^^I can help you out on that too if you’d like, slothz. You’ll have to send me the prompt, though.

I was accepted Early Write, and I wrote my essay from my own point of view; pretty much a standard essay about an experience. don’t worry about it, and GL

Decisions come out tomorrow! I took a risk with the essay and I hope it payed off! I wrote it in the third person as if I was looking into my house if it were made of glass and was transparent.
I’m fully expecting a rejection letter though, the stats are not in my favor. 43% of the freshman class was accepted ED, and they still need to pick the brightest students that are from all over the country (me being from Long Island NY works against me since so many students apply from LI) while also making the student body diverse (racially, economically and otherwise)
