I am an international student and will be starting college this fall. I want to know which would be better for an economics/international relations double major, and also in terms of student body, extracurriculars, general atmosphere?
I’d really appreciate your help as I don’t have any source of comparing these, apart from visiting their web-sites.

Thanks

I can't speak for the academics at Williams, but since it was (is?) ranked the #1 Liberal Arts College I'm sure it is excellent. Brandeis is also a very academically focused place and the professors are very caring. Econ and International and Global Studies are two of the most popular majors here. As far as the student body goes, it is a little over half Jewish, and I'm sure the number is less at Williams. However I think we've done really well with diversity especially in my year (class of '09). There are TONS of clubs and it's so easy to start one. Also, Williams is basically in the middle of nowhere so you'll probably be staying in on campus whereas Brandeis is outside of Boston.
