Windows Vista Ultimate Upgrade

I heard something about the university offering Vista Ultimate upgrades for $20. Is this true? And if so, can you get more than 1 copy if you have more than 1 computer?

Yeah I heard that too. Hmm I wonder who told you? =P Check out this site dude : http://www.itd.umich.edu/sw-info/microsoft/products/ and 002245 Microsoft Vista Ultimate 32bit $18.87 (http://showcase.itcs.umich.edu/category.php?cat=71)

How about the 64bit? That's not on the list :S

It comes out to be exactly $20 after tax. Pretty limited license (only can be installed on one piece of hardware, limited to 2 installs, though my friend said you can get around the latter if something comes up), and each student is only allowed one copy (though you can probably find friends who will never buy them and have them get another one for you). An interesting thing about the license for Office 2007 is it provides for an archival copy on a portable device, which basically means you can install it on a desktop and a laptop.

I asked someone at the computer center, and they said they will never get 64-bit Vista. Not that it really matters, since I decided to only go with 2 gigs of memory instead of 4.

Darn, I am going to get 4 GB mem, so I wanted 64 bit. Thanks for the info though.
