Winter 2015 Transfer

Same here, got the e-mail and was able to setup the Bronco Direct account. Application status “no items required at this time.” At least application is progressing forward!

I received the ‘Claim Your BroncoID’ email on 8/30/2014 for Winter 2015 as well, but does anyone know when you are supposed to pay your ECD?

you’ll pay your ECD after you get accepted.

Thank you for your reply, tehjoadsta. From the Transfer to Cal Poly Pomona Winter 2014 forum, I found the following date: 10/10 - ECD ($100) deadline. I also compiled a timeline based off of the postings in the 2014 forum. Once I get correspondence from Cal Poly that aligns with these dates, I will post it (maybe it can help others lessen their stress over dates and deadlines). I am anticipating the next To Do action will be sometime between 9/15 to 9/19 - Official Transcript request, which should be due by 9/30 or 10/4 (according to the 2014 forum, this varied). I’ll post once I get an update or on 9/15, which ever comes first.

What do you guys think- I applied with a 3.07 GPA which already isnt that great for my chances but then my summer class after application moved it down to 3.0 exactly. Should they offer provisional admittance, do you think they would rescind it for that small change in GPA?

@Hbkelly I would say it depends on the major you chose and what school you are transferring from. I barely have a 3.14 so I guess we just gotta keep our fingers crossed.

@qatjack I know I’m hopeful but we’ll see. Mine is not an impacted major so I’m not sure how it works. What is your major?

@HBkelly Business-Accounting.

@QatJack‌ have you applied to Pomona previous quarters? I applied for fall and didn’t get in, my gpa was 2.87 last Fall though ha ha :)

@Hbkelly‌ Nope, this is the first time I am applying, But I’m also from a private school so I have a disadvantage.

Well, hopefully we can get in because we are non impacted majors and it’s winter quarter Best of luck to you! Just gotta keep waiting. 8->

@Hbkelly‌ When you applied for the fall did you have your AA or AS-T degree?

@HGolden77‌ No I didn’t because I had to complete the last GE requirements during that Fall and following Spring semester.

I’m trying not to obsessively check, but I know emails should be starting to get sent out the next couple of days, feeling anxious! :-S

most of the admission emails will probably be coming late september - early october.

@tehjoadsta‌ guess I should chill out then :))

@KenCalPoly84 have you heard anything from CPP about a date for transcripts? The final documents deadline under Admission Requirements - Important Deadlines for Transfer Applicants says Sept 30. I don’t want to send them without a notice of action so I’m going to get some official copies for my self to hand deliver as I’m worried about when they do finally send a notice of when they are needed there may not be enough time. (I heard from a friend that this happened to him they gave him like a week to get transcripts turned in)

@Reneeday‌ from previous threads for fall transfer it seemed that although they officially say deadline is the 30th on their site, Cal Poly is notorious for taking their sweet time with notifications, so when they send out admissions notifications so late, they have deadline extensions for those who got their notification later than the rest.

I just got an email today to send in my transcripts. Does anyone know if it’s better to send them in electronically or by mail?

I just got an e-mail to send transcripts but its like 6pm so I cant even contact the schools to send it. Will have to take care of it tomorrow.
