When do the Winter ED decisions come in?

Wish you guys the best!

Good luck guys, my daughter had her EDII ready to go to Swat, but was accepted ED elsewhere. You can't go to all the great schools, but you may want to go!

is there no one applying ed 2?
plz post

There are two of you, apparently. That bodes well - I think seeing as they accept ~45% of the class ED, probably (guesses) 15-20% from ED2....that is like 60-70 slots for you two. :P

Me too!
Erika, 680M/800V, 750 Writing, 730 Math i, 750 Bio, 720 US History, 760 Lit, 4.0+, 1/22, bio, USA

Good luck to everyone!

Good luck!

good luck!

i didn't post earlier because my stats aren't really on par with everyone else's, but then i thought that it couldn't hurt me any to share. good luck to everyone. february 1 is approaching soon!

Don't worry about it, simaddict. I found that Swarthmore judges you by a lot more than your stats. Speaking of which - Lilypad, we have almost the exact same test scores and GPA!

I really think it's the essay and recs that count for the most, however. I have my fingers crossed for you both.

Guys, anyone knows how Swarthmore sends the decision?
How was the ED1 applicants informed?
Im in Nepal and if it is only by mail it takes around 20 days to get me.
Does Swarthmore email the decision?

No email. Just snail mail. And I suppose it takes a lot longer to reach Nepal. :)

Don't worry about it, Abhay. What's done is done.

Abhay, if you are that much in anguish, you can call the admissions office when you know the decisions are out; they will surely let you know. Call during their office hours, of course.

oh, achat---

sorry to interrupt, but I think Swat does send email to the international students.

And abhay, that's how I got my ED I decision (email + snail mail)

I received my letter by snail mail on the 13th (the official notification date was the 15th)

thanx guys.
i just got a mail from swarthmore that they email international students
i cant wait to get it
hope i get in
