In the winter, are the dorms comfortable, hot, cold? I will be in LAR (shelden)

I lived in PAR and it was pretty hot. Once we’d get inside, we’d tear off our clothes and go straight to cracking the windows open. Never really wore more than a t-shirt. But I’m from Chicago, so I prefer the cold. They’d have the heat on once it got down to 60 degrees!

Thanks! Any input from other dorms???

Are all dorms hot in the winter and cold in the summer? My daughter’s room is 92 degrees and it is 20 outside. The Heater/AC runs continuously no thermostat.

Well, in the winter, open a window. In the summer, if AC has the room temperature at 60…Open a window. Similar to any old building’s HVAC.

All the dorms may be too warm for many in the winter but only a small number can be cool in the summer because most do not have air conditioning.

Most of the time it’s warm and sometimes hot at ISR-Townsend, but also some days I have to sit with a blanket because it’s cold.
