Way back in sixth grade, our school made us chose between italian, spanish, and french as a foreign langauge. Back then, i loved the italian teacher, and chose it. Of course, no one ever mentioned to this little sixth grader that there were no sat II books for it, and the test is only offered in December, meaning I need to take it in my junior year if I want to apply early next year.

So what I want to know is how other (non italian native) students who took the italian sat ii combated this problem. Are there practice tests floating around the internet somewhere? was there a really great textbook that did the job? How do I know excatly what collegeboard wants me to know? Help! Thanks for reading,
Phil.

I'm taking the SATII in December, and I'm a non-native speaker. Although I wish that there was a book specifically for this test, I have been able to predict what will be on there from (a) the official, online site, which offers a couple sample problems and (b) the Real SATII's book, which has a complete test.

I'd imagine that a solid four years of studying would be good enough for 650+, and seeing as you've taken it since 6th grade, you'll probably be at a high enough level.

I'm applying EA to a school that doesn't require SATIIs, in order to solve that problem, but still taking the SATII in December and sending it to most of my colleges, including one that requires it for a special program.

Good luck!
