So, basically I took a lot AP classes and decided to tack on a college math course as well. I'm finding it really hard to balance school and ECs. I'm doing fine (A's) in my school classes (APs, honors) but I'm getting a D in the college math class (Calc III). Thing is, I'm not bad at Math, I got an A/4 in BC calc, but it's that I can't balance everything and Calc III ends up being last priority. If I Withdraw from the college class, will it look bad (I'll have a W on my college classes transcript)? I have A's in my other classes (which includes other non-math college classes). I'm shooting for Cornell, Duke, Northwestern, Brown, Michigan, etc. This will be the only withdrawn class I've ever had.

I might be able to get my grade upto a C or C+ … Is a C or C+ better than/equivalent to a withdrawal. Let’s say I take Calc IV, and get an A. Could that make up for my C/C+. This is would be the only C I’ve ever got.

People withdraw from classes for many reasons. It won’t hurt you (certainly better than a C).
