I applied to a school ED and was accepted about a week ago. I know that under the binding agreement I am expected to withdraw all of my other applications, however I only applied to 3 other schools (all early action), received an acceptance from 1, and should be hearing back from the other 2 at the start of the week.

How do I go about withdrawing my application to the school that has accepted me, and to the other 2 that I should be hearing back from any day now? I am 100% attending my ED school without a doubt in my mind, but will it be a problem if I wait a few more days to find out where else I got in? I'm really just curious as to whether or not the other 2 schools will accept me.

Contact the school that has already accepted you and let them know that, although you are grateful for the acceptance, you have been accepted ED. Then contact the other admissions offices to let them know that you have been accepted somewhere ED and would like to be pulled from their admissions pool. If they don’t process this information before your acceptance/rejection, it will not be a problem, but the honest thing is still to let the schools know ASAP.

congrats! and, i would definitely be curious about the other schools too if i were you. but, if you’re sure you’re not going, they could use your spot for someone else who might go.
