Hey guys, congrats! Anyway, Im having issues withdrawing apps as Stanford and some of the other schools are being really stubborn and refusing to withdraw my app as I keep sending them emails and they have not replied yet...Im wondering if they are mad at me for withdrawing and dont want to reply.....but its getting late....so I sent to all my schools yesterday a letter with my name, SSN, DOB, name of school etc. It was signed. Should that be enough?

Or am I missing something? Because that would be awkward if I thought everything was fine and I began to get letters with admissions decisions, and I had violated the ED agreement.

I think that should be fine. I sent withdrawal letters to Stanford and Columbia, and thus far have only heard back from Stanford. Grrr, hurry up Columbia!!! :P

the stanford admission officer said we should include our applyyourself! id in the letter as well. but i don't think it matters much if you didn't. :)

hmm yeah it seems like stanford wants to be pretty strict about withdrawing apps- i've heard they require a mailed letter, and now helen says they want your id thing too. but all i did was email them (i didn't even give my SSN or anything) and a while afterwards i got a letter in the mail saying my application was withdrawn. so i'm sure your email AND letter are sufficient.
