Withdrawing from an elective course

Hi. I’m in an elective course for senior year and the teacher put ALL of the grades at the end of the MP, giving me a C. No heads up. This is completely unlike him. This elective has nothing to do with my academic interests, I just did it for fun. I’m considering withdrawing from the course, meaning that there will be a WP (withdraw passing) on my transcript. How terrible does this look? Thanks.

You should be fine. However, if you already sent your transcripts to colleges, you will have to let them know of the change ASAP (don’t wait until the end of the year for them to notice your final transcript doesn’t match the fall version), and if you have an acceptance, you might even need the college’s approval. If an explanation is necessary, tell them you are enjoying the class and would like to retake it in college, but the heavy workload in all your classes is preventing you from devoting as much attention to this one as you’d like.

Not just if you sent the transcript, but if you listed it in the app. Schools want a heads up on any schedule changes.

this happened a while ago but update he changed the grade lol its fine
