<p>HOLY SMOKES! Recently I’ve been plagued with an irrational fear of getting old.</p>
<p>I imagine myself turning 40 and driving my kids to school, and I turn cold inside. And 40 isn’t even OLD! </p>
<p>I think people just worry that some of the best years of their lives are burning away under piles of homework.</p>

<p>When I was listening to 90’s music the other day, yes, I did feel old. =</p>

<p>Lol…I wish I could be 10 but have all the legal rights (and the brain, duh) of a 21-year-old. >.< Idiots…<em>glares at policy-makers</em> Then again, giving a 10-year-old the legal rights of a 21-year-old would probably just result in disaster, but of a greater magnitude.</p>
<p>Eh, well I don’t feel old but that’s probably because I’m only 15 
But it kind of sucks cause I’m a junior and I don’t turn 16 until my senior year. It’s cool and all sometimes being younger but then it’s like, “Hey guys, I just got my driver’s permit!” and my friends are like “Hey, I can vote” 
Age restrictions suck.</p>
<p>I wish I was… older. My childhood was hell. My black parents were like Asian parents. My middle years as of right now are crappy.</p>

<p>Ha I feel the same way. Now I’m just living up to my potential, not wowing anyone (because no one’s wowed the same way by a smart high schooler as by a smart 5-year-old).</p>
<p>But whenever I babysit, I imagine how foreign I seem to these kids being able to drive, having a phone, etc. I was always so intimidated by/jealous of my babysitters as a young’un.</p>
<p>When I was in 5th grade I thought that being in 10th was unimaginable…</p>
<p>I thought they were so tall and did teenager things. Feels weird to be 16… I do feel older though.</p>
