I'm wondering how women who want to major in engineering are faring in college admissions in selective colleges who have good stats: like high test scores 34+ ACT or 1480+cr+M SAT, plus high math science skills/AP classes. Who also have had paid lab/internship experience. I don't want to do the typical chance me thread, because there could be a lot of women that fit the general description above that might want that information. I just haven't heard lately that there is a gender imbalance in engineering anymore, and wondered if the landscape has changed. Would love to hear anyone's experiences.
