My daughter recently got some mail from CalTech (because of her academics) which doesn't have a women's varsity soccer team, but does have some women on their men's team - this piqued our curiosity.

I'd guess, without great investigation, as it's a hard search term on Google, that such teams would be quite the exception, and only likely at such schools having relatively few female student-athletes attending in general because of the particular academic focus of the schools, such that decisions have to be made about which sports to support. My daughter greatly enjoys the more physical game when she occasionally plays on her school's boy's team, hence the reason for this thread.

Any thoughts or knowledge of other coed soccer programs from the soccer cognoscenti?

wow sorry this has nothing to do with anything but i look at the Caltech “soccer page” man they look so bad haha (sorry i could help myself) i can say with the utmost certainty that the majority of their players but not be able to make a decent USSDA u16 team. i noticed several overweight players in the pictures on their website?
not to mention they go killer almost every game

but then if they do give preference to recruited athletes and your daughter is not super big into soccer and cares more about the education and not if she plays on a half decent team then go for it
