<p>I would love to hear from anyone who participated in the WLI. Was it a beneficial experience? How about living in Somers Hall on the Vernon Campus? I think I would prefer Foggy Bottom but am wondering if the WLI community would be a great living and learning experience.</p>
<p>I am beginning to understand the comment about all the acronyms at GW! I discovered it is the Women’s Leadership PROGRAM (WLP), which is administered by the Women’s Leadership
Institute (WLI), which had a founding effort called the Women’s Leadership Initiative, that I am interested in.</p>
<p>There is a WLP website , with detailed information including profiles and comments of past participants, so many of my questions are answered, except:</p>
<p>Is living on VERN isolating?</p>
<p>Does participating in a special program like this expand your friendships or tend to circumscribe you within the program?</p>
