Gpa: 3.3 (many extenuating circumstances, mother paralyzed in car accident freshman year and father had a heart attack my sophomore year)

<p>With all that in mind I have just been informed that I will be receiving the Kohl Initiative Scholarship worth 1000 dollars. Only 85 students in the state of Wisconsin receive this award. With my iffy GPA I'm trying as hard as possible to boost my chances.. Should I email the schools letting them know?</p>
