I am currently an undergrad college student. I did very poorly in high school, dropped out and enrolled in a program to receive my high school diploma by earning 30 college credits. My community college is one of the best in the US, while I was there I got a 3.8 cumulative GPA but got a 4.0 for my three last semesters consecutively. I took honors classes, became the vice president of the honor society and ran a few charities from the school. I also had three poems published in the school newspaper. My last semester the Dean awarded me some special thing where my name went on a list of students who did exceedingly well at a community college. However, I did not take much math and I am still poor in this subject. I have never taken the SATs either. Right now, I go to Hunter College... It is my first semester here but I want to transfer because the commute is long and I can't study efficiently. Right now at Hunter I write for the paper and am an editor for the schools creative writing magazine. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for what school I should apply to. I'm not sure how well I can compete with other students, but I would ideally like to go to an ivy league school.... any comments or advice?
