Woohoo! Decisions in a day.

It looks like if you get at least a 32 on your ACT, you’ll receive a $25k/yr annual merit scholarship. A 34 ACT will get you a $30k/yr! CWRU has tons of money!

Accepted!
SAT: 2340
Weighted GPA: 4.78 (South Carolina uses a strange weighted scale, my unweighted is something like a 3.8 or 3.9)
30,000/year scholarship

No e-mail at our house yet. Anyone else still waiting or just received theres?

Accepted!
SAT: 2280
GPA: 4.0 unweighted (4.7 weighted)
Scholarship: $30,000 Loved the personal message!
Are these scholarships based on merit or need-based?

merit-based. Congrats!

So why don’t I have any scholarships with a 2310 SAT and 4.0 GPA? I feel soooo strange…

That is VERY strange! I would have expected you getting some merit aid with those SAT scores!

@RedYellowBlue, does this offer mean my essay/ECs are not as good? I was very disappointed…

waitinggirl you need to call someone in the admissions office - you should have received a $30,000 scholarship.

Is $30,000 the highest merit aid amount, and does anybody know when the need based financial aid comes out.

@WaitingGirl
I agree with megan12. I would call the admission office. I am really surprised that you did not get a merit scholarship with your SAT at 2310!! I can’t comment about the quality of your essays/ECs.

@airbus1094
It appears that $30 k is the maximum amount for merit scholarship. Need based comes out soon by the end of March (as early as 3/20).

I didn’t received any emails either. Does that mean we are rejected?

Accepted, and impressed by the personal note!
GPA 3.1 (unweighted)
SAT 2240
University scholarship $17,500

accepted, loving the free T-shirt and personal note
GPA- UW 3.89
SAT-2240
$25,000 per year scholar

to all

the scholarship may be merit based but when you receive your FA, don’t be surprised that they integrated your merit scholarship to your FA and you do not get any need based grant and just additional loans to meet financial need

I am majoring in biomedical engineering. I have been accepted to Drexel (some merit $) Case Western (some merit $), Marquette and Purdue (OOS, no aid.)
I have a tough decision to make as all 4 have some positives. I cannot find a place where I can compare student reviews on all 4.

^ check out ■■■■■■■■■■ they have student comments and other statistical info (that i’m not sure how current it is).

S was accepted with $30k/yr scholarship (which will probably be meaningless due to financial need)

I guess I will have to call the admissions then regarding scholarships… Are merit-based scholarships only based on scores?

Is anyone rejected?

Has anyone else not received an e-mail about their admission decision?
