Woohoo!

Thanks for understanding GRCxx3. It’s a solid school at an instate price. Still not sure what to think about the whole situation but I will just ask my college counselor on Monday and see what she thinks.

WEEE!!! I got it in, agriculture and biological science! I plan to study Biochemistry.

I honestly was a worried since my math was low but my other scores were high.

Ahh such a relief. Congrads to everyone else!

Congrats! Good luck in biochemistry… my sister also studied biochemistry and graduated in 2004 magna cum laude and went on to UNC-med. She loved her undergrad years.

That is great to hear. I plan to study Pharmacy but I may change my mind later on down the road for immunology or anesthesiology.

Virginiafan - your “reason” for applying to NCSU is the same reason I wanted my son to apply to TX A&M - great engineering program, instate tuition. But - he absolutely refused to even visit the campus, much less apply! A&M is one of those “love it” or “hate it” schools, and he’s in the “hate it” category. So - the compromise was Oklahoma - decent (tho not as good) Engr program, but they do have his particular major (a rarity), and the OOS tuition is just a little over the in-state tuition for A&M. Plus, they’re offering scholarship money. He’s not really interested in going to Oklahoma - but it’s a solid backup.
