(I got a 3.9 for Quarter 1 this year- so hopefully it will go uppp!)</p>

<p>SAT I Math: 690
SAT I Critical Reading: 690
SAT I Writing: 710
(((i just took the Nov SAT too))))</p>

<p>Significant Extracurriculars: Glider camp, Jazz Band (1st chair alto sax), Member of local Catholic church Youth Group, Italian Club</p>

<p>Leadership positions: Vice President of Student Council, President of Intramurals, Peer Minister at local church, 2 years as elected Student Council Board member</p>

<p>Volunteer/Service Work: Hospital Volunteer, Children’s Museum Volunteer, 3 years of summer mission trips,etc etc
Honors and Awards: National Honor Society member</p>

<p>I too think you are competitive and also think it would boost your chances a lot if you could get your math SAT to 700+. Especially since you are interested in engineering. The fact that you are a female probably helps too–as far as engineering is concerned.</p>
