Would it help to apply to Bucknell undecided rather than engineering?

Thanks everyone!

No! You're a female! Apply as engineering to Bucknell. All engineering schools need more females. The ratio of f:m at most engineering schools is like 1:2, more or less varies per school. As of Chapel Hill your SAT is gonna hurt you. Most state schools are more selective on out of state students. GOOD LUCK! By the way if you're into engineering schools look at Rose Hulman(79% male, you'll get the pick of the litter ;P, very good school and not terrible difficult to get into), Cooper Union (difficult!!! but great engineering school), Carnegie Mellon University, and Lafayette College (Nice school).

thanks =]

does anybody know what it means when people keep posting the word "bump" on their threads?

it just means they wanna bump up their topic to the top of the page

um...yes I agree you should apply for engineering since you are a girl and they need more females, so you'd have a better chance. For UNC, your sat is gonna hurt you a lot.
