I have mentioned previously that I sometimes “cheat” by Googling for possible solutions - not often, but sometimes Anyway, today I didn’t want to spend forever on solution, so I used Google for some help after guess #3. My criteria returned 102 words. Some would not have worked considering used letters not eligible, but still lots of options and I picked correctly for guess #4. Some skill, but mostly luck.

I’m posting this before doing today’s Wordle so this is not a hint!

But, has anyone else noticed more puzzles lately with multiples of the same letter (whether sequential or not)? Off the top of my head from the last few weeks… BEEFY, RUDDY, AVAIL, FIFTY.

I used to never “see” those, but now I’m afraid I’m “wasting” guesses by trying out words like that earlier in the game than I would have typically. Curious if anyone else has noted this or if it is just me.
