Why are you awake?
I am a morning person and naturally get up at around 5. Wordle is my new morning routine!

I do mine around ten with a lot of coffee. Wish I were you.
And this is mine early…I used the same wrong letter in the same place, duh! That’s why I do it later

I do wordle after I warm up with NY TIMES, spelling bee ( mostly interested in getting the panagram) and mini crossword….then on to wordle, imagine my happiness in hearing Ny times bought wordle, add to my routine

Another 4. Another time I thought I had it in three.
A note to the wise. If you’re ever with me and it’s a life or death 50/50 chance, feel free to choose the option I don’t. Chances are your odds will be >90% success. 
ps I can do Wordle right after midnight if I’m up, or right as I get up, or shortly after breakfast. I don’t generally post it on here until I have more time though. 'Tis addicting! Right now we’re also on AST, so it could look really early to west coast or HI folks. I actually completed this one 3 hours ago…

I had to puzzle over the results of my first guess for quite a while but finally got it.

I almost always start with the same word(s)/letters but on a whim today I chose a random word with different letters. Getting that one letter in round one sure helped!

Ugh, uninspiring result today

So, I’ve been practicing on Wordle - A daily word game, replay past and random wordles (berknation.com) and my latest word was p_bic. I am not a prude but a little surprised (got it on the 6th try!).
I’ve played over 1000 on that site and that one gave me the most pause - other than that it’s been pretty clean (but there is talk upthread about a variation called Sweardle…)
I’m a big dummy and repeated a “yellow” on guess #2.

I always play in “hard” mode and approximately 50% of the time it takes me 4 tries.
Haven’t lost yet, though.
