To start, I am a person with a 1480/2400 SAT score. After I realized how low that score was I really have started to practice and take the SAT more serious. I'm currently studying from the bluebook (2nd edition) and Kaplan (purple book w/4 official practice tests) and lets just say it's working. As I continue to practice more, I'm finding myself getting 2-0 questions wrong.

The point of the thread is to just let people know that practice does indeed make perfect. Don't give up on yourself, practice everyday and I'm pretty sure you can get the score increase you want. As I went from getting 5-7 questions wrong when I first started practicing to getting 2-0 questions wrong, I discovered that all along, I knew the material, just wasn't taking the SAT seriously.

Overall, everyone, just don't stop practicing. Whether you're like me, trying to aim for a 400+ point increase or whether you're a 2300 trying to get a 2400, do NOT give up. As I'm practicing more, I'm more confident with the skills and abilities I'm gaining. Now lets just hope come October 10, I can get an 1800+ LOL.

Thanks all and feel free to PM with any questions.
