Work Experience for Top MBA Programs

Hi, I'm an undergraduate business student graduating this summer and plan on working at a Fortune 100 company. The position I am working will be a rotational/development program where I spend three years doing three different job functions within a specific unit of the company.

However, I plan on attending a top tier MBA program such as Harvard, Wharton, Stanford after my program ends. Is a program like this good for MBA applicants to have as job experience? Or should I pursue a specific job for a few years instead of a rotational?

Be a shining start on your rotations, figure out what you like and shoot for it for when you are off rotation - depends on how much choice they give you – be a rock star on your first job out of rotation for a year or two and apply to the MBA programs when you have 4-5 years experience and a solid track record.
