<p>I am kind of worried because I am a junior and I do not have any work experience. I discovered that Hotel Department requires some sort of hospitality work experience, and I don't have any!</p>
<p>Nonetheless, I have a few significant leadership positions and recently just founded the swim team at my school. Does it hurt my admission chances if I do not have work experience? I'll probably apply for CALS or Hotel.</p>

<p>Yeah, if you intend to apply to the hotel school, you definitely should get some sort of work experience or your chances of getting in won't be so great. If you go for CALS though, not having much work experience probably won't hurt you much, especially if you've got other good ECs and grades, etc.</p>

<p>SHA doesn't require work experience, it just works SOOO much better in your favor to have some. as for me, i have no work experience which is why i applied ED to show that it is my number 1 choice.</p>
