<p>I definitely heard this millions of times and I know this is a stupid question but what does it mean by "party hard"? So what's so special about MIT parties?</p>
<p>alright this, this doesn't exactly answer your question. But it might give you some idea.</p>
<p>I was at MIT this summer working in a lab and a MIT student was kind enough to show me around and blah blah...he told me about this setup they once had in an east campus hall to distribute beer for parties.</p>
<p>There's this fire extinguiser they have in a wall that a few enterprising MIT students (aren't they all) had modified it so that it could be slid to the side and this keg with a tap would slide out and take its place. When the fire extinguier is there, its impossible to tell anything is out of the ordinary. Now that would make a cool party. Hope that conveys something about MIT life, and their parties.</p>
