My D hasn't gotten very much information about this process. Is there a period of time that students see lists and seek out a job on campus after arriving? Hope she hasn't missed the boat already.

Your D won’t be “assigned” a job-- she needs to apply for them and be hired in order to work for the funding.

Jobs have started posting here, and will continue throughout the semester. The postings have definitely increased in te last week (from about 1 or 2 a day to 4 or so a day). Just have her start looking and apply for anything and everything. In my second round of looking for a non work-study job, I’ve applied for probably about seven or eight different things (there are a lot less non work-study jobs), and have set up two interviews thus far.

If your D is okay with working off-campus, I will be working as an America Reads/America Counts Tutor this fall as well, which is a work-study position that I’m super excited about.
