Work Study

How difficult is it to hold a job while attending classes and which job is usually considered easy?

Part of my financial aid packet included work study, and I've been browsing through the work-study website for a few days looking for a job that will still allow me time to cram. I've never had a real job before so it'll be a new experience balancing schoolwork and work-work.

I'm freaking out. Just a little.

the on-campus jobs seem to be pretty light. they’ll only have you work like 10 hours a week and you’ll have a really flexible schedule since all of the employees are college students. try to get a job working the desk at one of the libraries–all you’ll really have to do is sit there and wait for someone to approach (which happens infrequently). you’ll get plenty of study time.

Do America Reads- it’s $11/hr and it’s only a couple hours a week

what’s america reads? i’m interested..

america reads is where u tutor children at a local elementary school

does neone have the link to workstudy positions?

Here you go. There’s not that many level one jobs though.
