Help.

I guess because I have my whole world revolving around academics, I miss a few things (like job fairs, and how to find jobs on campus). I have a job "through" the university right now (I'd rather not say where) which is, needless to say, killing me. I've asked for several weeks now for a lighter schedule (I'm inundated with classwork) and yet, lo and behold! Each week I get more hours or the same. I've spoken to the higher-ups, and yet they've done nothing about it. I have major projects and tests coming up (which several of my grades depend on), and school work > work any day. I'm seriously considering just quitting to save my academic reputation/sanity, but the problem is that I really do need the income from somewhere. What's available right now, or where do I look for a new job? I'd like to work for the libraries ideally (I've heard that they're pretty understanding of academic struggles), but I've been checking the library's website under "Job Opportunities" since the summer pretty religiously and never seen anything posted there.

Help of any kind? :(? I'm pulling my hair out over this. Ugh.

can u transfer departments I was in the same situation at UM...and I transferred

It's...uh...not really a department...:(

Have you contacted the library? Do that.

There's also student stores.

Talk to your parents about it, and see if they'd be understanding of you quitting your job for your grades' sake. You really shouldn't work more than ten hours a week in college until you've really got ahold of things.
