<p>I'm calling the payroll office and the financial aid office on monday. He is a full time student and I need to find out if this is a ws job or not. I'm going to be upset if they say he has been earning 'regular' money and not ws money for the past 3+ months. I just spoke to my son and he says it is work study but I'm not taking his word on this because of the fact they are taking out fica (and medicare) taxes</p>
<p>Just an FYI: Work study is campus based. The feds award a certain amount & the school sets its own policies to award. We figure it based on X number of hours per week * X number of weeks a student can work * average $ per hour for a work study job. Obviously, other schools do it differently.</p>
