What's the best book for world history SAT II? And unconnected, do colleges piece together the best sections of your SAT I test if you take it more than once?

barrons book is excellent for world history, though it might take you some time ot get through it all.

Kaplan is the best. It's clear, straightforward, and concise.

Barron has so much unrelated BS and random useless facts. The World History test is pretty general, it tests general concepts, Barron goes way too in depth and it just makes you more confused.

I tried Barrons, but gave up because it was so tedious in its approach. So... didn't do any other studying, but I still ended up doing pretty well, so who knows? Maybe the Barrons helped.

Would you recommend REA? or is Kaplan fine as a standalone?

Totally go with Barrons...It is long and slightly tedious, but if you devote time and effort to it, the payoff's great (trust me). Also, Barrons breaks up the sections into smaller units that are easier to handle than tackeling something larger at once. The mini quizes at the end are also great for reviewing

Should I start studying now even though the test is in october or should i start studying a month before the test since chances are, that i'd forget most of the stuff when the test is around the corner?

Give yourself a break, it's summer! Just wait until early/mid August or something, or late July if your really anxious. Starting now (in my pov) would just give you an unwanted headache
