<p>so I got my SAT scores, and I got a 770 in world history. Now, a 770 in Math II would be horrible, so I was wondering if a 770 in world is similarly horrible. (I'm applying to Ivies).</p>

<p>770 is like the 92nd percentile, I got a 780. The curve is pretty large, but you are only about 6 off from a perfect score. World is much more detailed than the AP test and there is a lot of material to cover, I think you got a fine score!</p>
<p>770 in WH is a good score. Go ahead and take another if you have the time, but an is not a key to get into HYP. You may be better off investing your time in other aspects of your hs experience that will have a greater impact on the AdComm.</p>
