Worried about a grade that does not reflect my ability

I currently have an 81 in Honors Chemistry after having a 97 average until this point. I’ve gone for extra help and approached the teacher, but he does not seem to want to help me. Everyone else in the class has an A. He keeps giving me low HW grades (30%, 80%, etc.) and also will not grade our tests. I just do not know what to do. I’ve never received a B in an Honors class before and I know that this will absolutely ruin my chances at Georgetown considering that I have already B average in AP Stats for the year. My other grades this term so far are as follows:

Eng. (hardest teacher in school) 97
Fre. 97
Geo. 97
APUSH 93
AP Stats 88

I do well in all of my difficult classes and feel as though this teacher is trying to make my life miserable. I cannot sleep because of this and I told him this and he still will not let me know how to improve my grade or why I’m receiving these grades. Has anyone else been in a situation like this before? I cannot get a B in this class this term. This teacher also went to Jesuit Wheeling University, so I cannot allow this person to be the one that derails my life goals.

PLEASE LEAVE ADVICE! THANK YOU!

Are you getting your assignments and test back so you can see your errors? If not, start there.

This isn’t about your teacher, this is about you needing to learn to the material to succeed in this class. I don’t know any teachers that are purposefully out to get students or make their lives miserable.

If you aren’t getting help from the teacher, use Khan Academy, get a tutor, and/or get help and study with friends who are getting As.

If you say to a college that your poor grade is due to your teacher it will likely lead to an automatic denial.

I never said that I would say that to a college…I only said that that is the reality behind the situation. I’d say that it is suspicious that I suddenly stop doing well…You are most definitely lying if you say that you have never had a teacher who has been completely unapproachable and unhelpful before.

No I am not.

Lol, you must not go to a public school then…
