Worried about GPA

I'm currently a sophomore and my cumulative unweighted GPA is around a 3.5. I'm currently taking all honors courses along with AP Euro and self-studying Ap Psych; I'm expecting a 5 on both. I know that I could have easily gotten a 3.8 if I had studied harder and to be honest, it ****es me off. Next year I will be taking 4 APs and I know I can get my GPA up. So all I'm saying is, will colleges look down on my GPA even if I have strong Ec's, SAT, rigorous schedule and essays?

You still have two years to fix your GPA. Making all A’s from now until graduation is not going to be possible, so don’t be hard on yourself if you make an occasional mid-high B, but if you make a C, it is an indication that you definitely need to study harder. In the next two years, focus more on getting your GPA up. Despite what everyone tells you, your GPA and SAT are the most important factors in college admission, because they admissions officers won’t look at your EC’s unless you are academically qualified. Remember that the purpose of college is academics, so academics always comes first, even if it means that you have to make some sacrifices in extracurriculars.
