Hi everyone! My DD auditioned on 2/19 at SUNY Fredonia and we havent heard anything yet but a couple of her friends who auditioned a week or two week after she did have gotten their results already. Should we be worried? Maybe results got lost in the mail? This is So nervewracking!

I think it depends on the instrument. DS’s friends who auditioned at a regional on brass instruments in Jan didn’t hear until last week even though he heard in mid Feb. I remember the emails from Fredonia did say that they would let everyone know by mid March. So keep up the faith!!

That is probably right. Some colleges have specific audition days for specific instruments or groups. There may have been later auditions on flute and they wait until they have heard everyone to make the decisions. It seems to me that a month is standard with these schools. One of the schools my S applied to didn’t make a decision until 7 weeks after his audition, even though all their materials said they decide within 30 days.

It is nerve wracking!

Most schools didn’t notified the students on the date their websites said they will, in my case I know a lot of people have hear from Oberlin but I haven’t heard anything, I’m very relax now because Ive already choose to attend Belmont University but if you are still waiting to hear from your dream school just be patient
