Hey guys, I was poking around the internet for comparisons on SAT scores and I came across this great forum. I'm hoping for some insight into how I stack up.

I don't want to make excuses, but I don't want to be too hard on myself either. I just turned 16 in November, and fit the bill for a sophomore instead of a junior based on my age. Academically, I'm in the top 10% of my class, I believe. That aside, I decided to take a test run of the SATs in December to gauge my performance and see what I needed to study more for the first time I take it for real, which'll be around April or May. Of course, I still took this SAT seriously.

So I received my scores today (I'm currently at home sick with a terrible stomach bug):

CR - 620
M - 560
W - 690

I'm really not happy with the critical reading and math, though (math especially). The writing I'm okay with, but I've been told that most colleges don't count writing. I really want to pull these scores up to a 700 for each (better yet, higher than that). I guess I'm just afraid that they'll stay like this.

I'm just hoping that you guys can give me some insight to how I'm doing.

Some other statistics for me are that I've got a solid 4.0 (technically above 4.0, I think?) weighted GPA, a 3.3 unweighted (AP and highest level courses hurt that quite a bit.) I'm almost certain I'm in the top 10% of my class, and I want to attend Georgetown University to study law.

Thanks, guys.
