Worried I'll be unprepared after CC transfer...

My prerequisite courses at my CC include a lot of physics and math, but Ill be transferring into the upper division courses at university.

When I look at the courses people who started out in university took, such as the introductory engineering and programming courses (which my CC doesn't offer) I'm worried I wont have as much of a grasp as them. Can I still take those introductory courses as an upper division transfer?

Also, a lot of people start getting internships in their junior year. I feel I wont have the connections of the introductory engineering process knowledge to be able to do well in any internships. Only some decent math and physics under my belt.

If those classes are required by your program then you will have to take them anyway. The only things from your CC than will apply to your bachelors when you transfer are your Lower division Physics, Maths and Gen Eds. So chances are you’ll have to take that intro to engineering class.

It is often the case that you need to stay 3 years in an engineering program after CC unless the programs are properly articulated. Don’t try to rush it, you really need to take the basic courses to prepare yourself for the upper division ones.
