Cantonese sounds mad vulgar

I speak german and I have to say probably the only reason people don't like it is because it conjures thoughts of nazis and everything. But if you learn it it's actually a nice language.

I absolutely love languages in general. My best friends' native languages are (dialects of) Chinese, Urdu, and Spanish (the Colombian accent). So beautiful. All of them, except when they're yelling.

I think French sounds pretty, but that's it... it's so pretty, it's frilly.

I'm a native speaker of Vietnamese. It's an unpleasant-sounding language (mi amiga: "What is your family arguing about?" at dinner when they were just talking), but I totally love it.

Language is an art. Just because some are terrible and "harsh" sounding, they're beautiful. I think I want to major in linguistics.

I hate chuihsi its so wierd sounding. ( chsud idha min ke?) ( dont you think so?)

to whomever thinks hindi sounds bad... go watch a bollywood movie, and hindi will seem like the most poetic language.

I used to be a stuck-up white boy fakin' the funk; bump that! I ain't BSin no more!

I'm beginning to dislike English more and more, but maybe that's because I have a mid-quarter test on Wednesday on a crap load of Romantic vs. Rationalist poetry....

I find the PC police patrolin' this thread humorous.
