Worst Statistics To Be Accepted

What are the worst statistics for a person ever to be accepted to USC. Anyone get in with a 1500 SAT score or a low GPA?

with this year being the toughest ever, theres really no point in even applying to usc with a 1500. I honestly think the only way you would maybe get in is if you're basically matt leinart.

Why did you pick 1500 out of all SAT scores? xD But you know what would beat out any bad SAT scores or GPA? Find the cure for cancer.

lol go to the adcom and say "i have the cure to cancer!"

Lol, I remember reading someone's chance thread and one of their ECs said "founder of aid to africa."

:O

My school counselor told me the lowest she had ever seen from our school was a 3.0.

I guess it happens, and I'm willing to bet someone out there has scored even lower.

um...athletes can get in with like a 2.2 and like a 1600

yea, i heard that too.

I know a kid that couldn't break a 1,000 on the new SAT. xD He didn't apply to USC or anything, just thought I'd throw that in.

oh no, thats sad, it sounds like he tried hard tho if couldn't break it..did he?

Nope. Got like a 960 on the new SAT. I was like, "You mean the 1600 scale...right? Right?" and he was like, "Nope!" I think he was proud he did so poorly. In fact, I think he slept halfway through the test.

ooh thats just embarrassing...i would have felt bad for him if he studied hard but just couldn't manage it.

Me too. I felt bad for me when my SAT scores came back and everyone was so much lower than me. The number one in my class got like a 1700 or around there and I got an 1850. We only had two national merit scholars and they could afford the $3,000 prep class. xD

I probably should have mentioned that my counselor and I were discussing the majority, the non-athletes, and their GPA.

Nickel Xenon, that reminds me of the kids who get 21 ACTs and that's the happiest day of their life that they overcame the "20 hump" that they've been on since 9th grade. I'm happy for them, but I also feel kinda, "Eh..."

i guess if you bought your way in too...your scores could be lower....just give a few million dollars
