Worth Retaking a 2300 SAT?

SAT scores for the November SAT came out today, and I have a question. Is it worth retaking a 2300, (I’m a junior) if one of my sections is noticeably lower than the other two?
I got 790 reading, 800 writing (11 on essay), and then 710 math. I honestly expected a slightly lower score because I felt like I didn’t do very well on the math portion, but in terms of total score I was a bit surprised.

I worry that if I retake the exam (I’m registered for the December SAT because I don’t want to bother with the new one,) I might do worse on reading or writing, even though I’m pretty sure I could boost my math score since I genuinely didn’t study math besides doing a few practice tests and usually got higher.
I come from a really competitive high school where the average math score is around a 750, but average reading and writing are SIGNIFICANTLY lower. In any case, is it worth an attempt at a retake or leave it as is?
Thank you so much!

No, anything above 2300+ is fine. If you want to major in math, then take the sat subject test in it and try to get 750+

I’m in the same boat as you. I have 800 on the CR and W and 700 on math. At this point, I think I will take the ACT because I tend to do better on their math comparatively, and use that score for colleges with a higher average math score. Also, many colleges superscore, so a lower reading and writing score won’t hurt you on your next SAT sitting

If you’re mostly interested in liberal arts colleges though, your score is awesome! Way to go!
