Worthwhile to apply?

Hey guys, I'm currently building my college list and I'm at the point where I need to pick my top reaches. During my college visit journey I fell in love with Middlebury and Bowdoin, but I understand these are some of the most selective schools in the country and my grades and ECs don't really match up. Maybe their holistic admissions processes will help me out ^_^? Do you guys think I should bother applying?

Unweighted GPA: 3.35 >.<
Weighted GPA: 4.0
School doesn't rank
7 AP classes taken (including this year)
one 4, rest 5

2350 SAT
750 CR
800 M
800 W

770 Bio
760 US History
800 Math

Activities
Varisty Soccer
Varsity Baseball
AAU Baseball
Tutoring at chinese school
2 years research in a biology lab

Awards
John and Abigail Adams Scholarship (state scholarship)
National Merit Commended
AP scholar with honor

If Middlebury and Bowdoin are too high of reaches, can you guys suggest some alternative schools?

What is your intended major?

Probably bio or physics

Personally I think that both are high reaches due to your GPA. The holistic approach might help (I am hoping it with help me get into a top LAC with a 3.8), but your grades are very low for both schools. If there is one you truly love apply, but have a killer essay. Are there any other schools you are looking at?

For some less selective schools I’m looking at Colby, maybe Bates or Brandeis?
